All things floral, five favourite florists in Oxfordshire and beyond.
One of my favourite parts of a wedding celebration ceremony is arriving early at the venue and meeting the florist who will transform the space I will be working in that day. Whether it is an outdoor venue, or indoors, with the opportunity for enhanced lighting in addition to their floral displays, it never ceases to amaze me how beautifully they enhance the whole ceremony area.
Their creativity and imagination always exceed expectations, setting the visual scene, I feel so lucky to work alongside such professionals.
Our collaboration begins well in advance of the event. We typically have a conversation a few weeks before the occasion, to discuss the types of flowers they intend to use. This allows me to include the symbolism of the meaning of the flowers into the ceremony script or incorporate an illustration to enhance the Commitment Certificate intended for the couple to sign.
So, why are they my favourite florists to work with?
When it comes to choosing the perfect floral display for your upcoming wedding, I am thrilled to recommend these five florists. Their stunning arrangements have not only wowed wedding guests, but they have all been an absolute delight to work with.
All demonstrate amazing flexibility in tweaking their creative displays, often working with the ceremony furniture to allow the photographer to get the best possible photos of the couples from all angles during the wedding celebration ceremony.
Innovative in their design work, boundless creative ideas along with the drive to make your day unique and memorable.
They are all 5-star suppliers and offer the best in their floral design, creativity and styling, along with enthusiasm, a personable approach and unquestionably the best in the business. It is always a joy to see and work with them.
Top tips for choosing a florist:
·        Think of your floral wedding style for your dream wedding.
·        Be clear on what you don’t want. Put together a mood board for colours, style etc.
·        Talk to potential florists, and better still, meet them face to face, allow time for this.
·        Decide the budget available, do you want to add sustainability into the mix?
·        Check their SM feeds and photos of weddings they have covered on their websites.
·        Look for someone with whom you can collaborate and enjoy the planning process.
·        Save the date, good florists get booked fast!
